  • We want to send out a big thank you to everyone who submitted posters, bought posters, and helped with our Haiti Poster show in March. We successfully raised $700 for BuildaBridge’s Haiti Arts Relief Fund. A team is assembling now and will be traveling in July to provide arts therapy for the children of Haiti.

  • Keys For the City

    20 Pianos have taken up a new residence all over the streets of downtown Lancaster…and one of them has our name on it. Music For Everyone, (a Lancaster-based non-profit that raises money for music programs for schools and community groups) has partnered with the Society of Design, the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, and the City of Lancaster to pull off this unique installation. Each of the custom designed pianos were sponsored by a local businesses or organization, and the money that was raised will be given back to continue the mission of Music For Everyone.

  • We’re happy to have Paul Sullivan with us for a couple months this summer. Paul will be a senior this fall at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. He’ll be cranking away with us for the months of May and June. If you’re a student with a lot of talent and looking for a challenge, we can still fit you in for July and August.

    We just found out that the new logo we designed for The Factory will be published in LogoLounge 6. Congratulations to Chuck Holt, who operates this great non-profit in Paradise, PA. LogoLounge is a prestigious series of identity volumes published every two years that showcases identity work by some of the most prolific designers in the world. Over 34,000 logos were submitted for the competition! The book is slated to hit shelves in February of 2011.

  • We are so excited to welcome Nashville-based printmakers Brad Vetter and Adrienne Miller to our gallery. Their show “ReCollections” is a wonderful grouping of printed objects. They are wonderful friends Tim met while interning at Hatch Show Print this past fall.

  • Haiti Show Crowd

    Thanks to everyone who came out for our ‘Help Haiti Heal Poster and Print Show’ on First Friday March 5. There was a great turnout and we were able to raise several hundred dollars for Build-A-Bridge’s Haiti Arts Relief. Seventeen different artists and designers got involved to support the cause. Posters are now available online.

  • We are having an opening Friday March 5th, 2010 for our ‘Help Haiti Heal’ exhibit. We have asked designers and print makers to create limited edition posters. They will be sold for $25 each at the gallery and online. The show will benefit Build-A-Bridge, a Philadelphia-based non-profit arts organization that uses the power of the arts to bring hope and healing. Its Haiti response includes art therapy to help children who may not have the emotional outlets or tools to cope with the tragedy.

  • Holy cow, these guys are blowing up! Congratulations to Josh Steffy and Square One Coffee for their new relationship with Whole Foods Markets. Square One whole bean is now available at the new store in Plymouth Meeting. (We’re kinda proud of that fact, too).

  • A big thank you to both PCA&D and Millersville University for allowing us to present our work and design process to some great students. We very much enjoyed our time with the students, thanks for asking such good questions!

  • Hoover at Hatch Show Print

    Infantree partner Tim Hoover moved to Nashville to study letterpress for three months at the legendary Hatch Show Print. Hatch is a 130 year old letterpress poster print shop known for their wonderful event posters, and recognizable aesthetic. Under the guidance of Jim Sherradan and designer Brad Vetter, Tim will be hand-setting posters for some amazing clients. Check back later this fall to see some of his work.

    Infantree partner Ryan Smoker has accepted a position at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. Smoker teaches a Junior level studio that focuses on concepts surrounding identity and brand design. We couldn’t think of a better fit. Congratulations, Ryan.
