About The Infantree
Who we are. |
| We are a group of young creatives. Artists and dreamers. We are inspired by the beauty and fragility of everything. We trust that there is power in the arts: to move mountains and to provide relief; to make uncomfortable the comfortable; and to tell the truth. We are organized in Lancaster, PA, but our hearts are all over the world. We are educated and we are free. We are risktakers but understand that manifestos are meaningless without hard work and sacrifice. |

| We create. We collaborate. We learn. We are designers, writers, photographers, musicians, and dreamers. We see the world through filtered eyes. We screenprint posters and illustrate magazines. We design logos and love our Macs. We make connections, and dream of collaboration. We yearn for community and trust that we were made for it. We want to be who we were mad eto be. We work with individuals, businesses, other firms...anyone who has an interest in THE INFANTREE and will let us have an interest in them. |
| Why we do it. |
Whether it be an annual report, silk screened poster, or a documentary profiling aids orphans in Zimbabwe; the act of creating brings us life. Collectively we create, learn, dream and believe. We do it because we have sensed where our gifts are. We do it because it feels wrong not to do it. We do it, together, because we understand the importance of a community of creatives. We stretch, challenge and love one another. All the while remembering to take baby steps, and walk towards our fears. We do it because we must. |
