We’re pleased to announce that our Library Lover’s Art Auction logo was selected for the 2012 HOW International Design & Interactive Awards. The logo is one of only 6 selected for publication in the entire awards and it shares space with some fabulous conceptual work. It’s our second year in a row in this great annual award selection. Thanks HOW! Congratulations to Jordan High, the lead designer on the project, you earned it.
We’re super pumped to announce that Derek Hollister has joined the team here at The Infantree. If you’re counting, that brings our total staff to three (including Ryan and Ryan). Derek is our first full-time employee and we are exceedingly glad to have more hands on deck. Congratulations, Derek, welcome aboard!
Prior to joining The Infantree, Derek worked at Charter Homes as a graphic designer.

The Infantree is excited this month to host local photographer Tom Debic and his exhibit The Kruger Deception.
The Kruger Deception is a series of black and white photographs of wild animals in their natural habitat. Taken in natural history museums using a toy camera, the photographs have an “old world” feel, making the viewer wonder whether or not they are real. The charm is in the deception, whether the photographer is deceiving the viewer or the animals themselves are tapping into long-forgotten childhood imagination. Continue reading →
The Infantree is proud to welcome Mathew Samuel for First Friday, October 7th. We’ll be opening our doors at 5:00. Mathew is an Assistant Professor at Lebanon Valley College in the Digital Communications program. He also runs a small design studio called San 7 Studios producing a variety of projects ranging from graphic design to web design and a product line called Masala.
Mathew is just a generally good dude and we’re very happy to finally get his work in our space. Drop by and show your face!
We’re excited to announce that Rockport will be printing two of our new logos in LogoLounge 7. This series is one of the most popular and competitive identity competitions around. Our new Infantree mark will be published as well as the fun Movies in the Park logo we developed this past spring. We’re very happy for Lindsay Hess, a fabulous designer who teamed up with us to create the Movies logo. Congratulations, Lindsay!
We have had the pleasure of getting to know Keith over the last couple of years as he has been part of several group shows here at The Infantree. This Friday (Sept. 2nd) will be Keith’s first solo show entitled Extreme Radio-Controlled Thuggery. We’ll be open First Friday from 5-9 pm.
Hello friends! We’re super excited to announce that our new web site launched today in tandem with our brand identity refresh. Our new mark combines a lot of things we like about our name and the wonderful Keystone State we call home. Best of all, we got our new letterpress cards this week. A big thank you goes to Scott McClelland, a printer and designer working in Philadelphia. We wish you the best Scott, thanks for your hard work on this one.
What many people don’t know about us here at The Infantree is that we’re rather large boardgame dorks, and we’re not just talking about an occasional monotonous game of Monopoly or even Risk. We’re talking about games of actual strategy!
We’re happy to present the fine work of Christian Herr. Christian is a local artist and one of our favorites. He’s been hard at work on many new pieces for his show, “Breathe Smoke”. Check it out, festivities start around 5:00 pm.
